Air Assist Needed at Egg Harbor MVA

The volunteer fire companies of Bargaintown and
Scullville of the Egg Harbor Township Fire Department, in Atlantic County,
responded at 2215 hours on July 10, 2010, to Weeping Willow Circle at
Delaware Avenue for a motor vehicle crash with entrapment. One civilian was
extricated from the wreckage and he was flown from the scene by Medevac. The
cause is under investigation by the Egg Harbor Township Police Department.
Also responding was the Egg Harbor Township Ambulance Company, Medevac,
AtlantiCare Paramedics, and EHT Fire Police.

Fire Police Calls In Mt. Ephraim MVA
 
On Saturday July 24, 2010, an Audubon Fire Police Officer
notified Camden County Radio of a MVA at the Black Horse Pike and Kings
Highway at 1100 hours. He reported a two-car crash with one vehicle on its
side with the occupant still inside of it.
Mt. Ephraim Fire, EMS, Police, and Camden County Medics were dispatched to
the scene. Upon arrival crews confirmed the report and went into operation
stabilizing the vehicle, while EMS made patient contact. Crews went into
operation with the tools to cut the A and B post and to remove part of the
roof to free the trapped occupant. The patient was transported to a nearby
hospital by EMS. The Mt. Ephraim Police has the accident under
investigation.

Budd Lake Handles Car Fire

On Saturday, July 31, 2010, Budd Lake Firefighters
responded to Route 46 for the car fire. Upon arrival, the homeowner’s car
was in the front yard with heavy fire coming out of the engine compartment.
Engine 53 stretched the 100-foot car fire line and knocked the fire down
within minutes being backed by Engine 59. There were no injuries at the
scene and the cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
