Westchester Parade
Many departments throughout Westchester and
several from nearby Connecticut marched in the parade. The
photos illustrate the wide variety of apparatus manufacturers as
well as colors of the departments in attendance. Also in the
parade were many fine marching bands. Featured in the parade was
Westchester Firefighter of the Year, Mohegan Volunteer
Firefighter Keith Boddie. FF Keith Boddie was awarded this honor
because of his decisive actions when he discovered a working
structure fire next door to his residence on the night of July
5, 2006.
