Huntington Manor FD Parade

The Huntington Manor Fire Department recently held
their annual parade and fair which was a great success. This year’s
Parade Grand Marshal was Fire Police Ex-Captain Frank Gargan, who was
chauffeured by Ex-Captain Brian O’Shaughnessy on the antique 1950 Mack
pumper. Departments, bands, and apparatus made their way up Oakwood Road
to the fairgrounds at the Stimson Middle School. Visitors were treated
to a spectacular fireworks show celebrating the 105th anniversary of the
Huntington Manor FD.

Eaton’s Neck FD July 4th Parade

The Eaton’s Neck Fire Department hosted their annual
Independence Day Parade and Service, which has become a July 4th
tradition. Departments from throughout the Town of Huntington
participated along with local veterans organizations, U.S. Coast Guard
Station Eaton’s Neck, and local residents. At the service, elected
officials honored our military serving overseas to protect our freedom.
Following the parade, the community was invited back to the Eaton’s Neck
firehouse for a July 4th barbecue of hot dogs, hamburgers, and ice
cream.
