Bohemia Fire Department
Explorer Post 1893 recently participated in a softball
tournament sponsored by the Huntington Manor Junior Bulldogs,
Explorer Post 1650. For the second year in a row, the Explorers
from Bohemia prevailed through five grueling games, finally
defeating a team of Juniors from the Melville Fire Department to
take home the championship trophy. The Explorer Post is overseen
by Firefighters Bruce Drago, Kevin Albro, and John Allesandro.

Relay for Life Walk
On Friday, June 13, 2008,
the sixth annual Relay for Life Walk-American Cancer Society was
held on the track of the Pulaski Street Elementary School. The
Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps was there on a stand-by
basis from 7:00p.m. to 7:00a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2008.
