Farmington FD Beauty Pageant

The first womanless beauty pageant and fundraiser was
held by Farmington Volunteer Fire Department, in Egg Harbor Township on
March 24, 2007. The Farmington Volunteer Fire Department Woman’s Auxiliary
put on its first event to a sell out crowd. The seven contestants all
fire/rescue personnel of Egg Harbor Township, NJ gave the attendees a
memorable evening. The men, all dressed in feminine attire, had a talent
contest, an evening wear competition and a question/answer session. When the
judges tabulated their scores, Tim Housand of the Scullville VFD, stage name
Frieda Yum Yum, won first prize.
